Philomène Uwamaliya, a former refugee is a Mental Health Nurse and Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing who works on tackling barriers and prejudicial attitudes in health workers to Refugees and Asylum Seekers in the UK.  She also leads on a number of projects that focus on helping Refugees and Asylum Seekers access services in the UK.
