Gaza and Occupied West Bank

We have been working in Gaza and the West Bank for over 20 years. We were able to respond immediately to the overwhelming need for humanitarian support, since the beginning of the bombings in October 2023.

Türkiye and Syria

Our colleagues were already working in Türkiye and Syria when the earthquake struck. Within the first 24 hours of this crisis, our teams had set up our mobile clinics, started supporting hospitals and the camps where people are now living, alongside coordinating deliveries of tents, food, and medicine.

Ukraine

Ukraine was invaded by Russia in February 2022. It is still under extreme bombardment from Russian forces making access to healthcare increasingly difficult.

Democratic Republic of Congo

In DRC, HIV affects 1.2% of the 15-49 age group. Prevalence is three times higher amongst women than amongst men of the same age.

Nepal

We train health workers here and maintain health facilities decimated by the earthquake as well as help communities better prepare for future disasters.

Sierra Leone

We have been supporting communities left devastated by Ebola, including through the rehabilitation of health facilities and staff training.

Greece

Doctors of the World has been working in Greece since 1990 and today medics provide medical care in many of the camps where refugees remain stranded.
