Young people webinar series

6th November 2020 - 1st December 2020

For the past two years, Doctors of the World UK (DOTW) and the British Red Cross have collaborated on a young people wellbeing project funded by BBC Children in Need. The project supports young refugees and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children aged 18 and under to improve their health and wellbeing through increased knowledge, improved confidence, and greater access to health support services.

As part of the project, DOTW is excited to offer a series of free webinars on topics of interest relating to the health and wellbeing of young people. Please find the programme below. If you are interested in attending a webinar, please register via the Zoom link. Please be aware that all webinars will be recorded for internal use by DOTW.

DOTW has also developed leaflets with health and wellbeing information for young people. Available in 10 languages, these have been produced in partnership with the British Red Cross (BRC), PositiveNegatives, Transbless Translations, and young people taking part in the BRC’s Refugees and Befriending Project.
