Due to increasing demand from service users, Project:London is opening on the first Saturday of the month, starting from 3rd July.
The health advocacy programme will be open in Bethnal Green from 10am-3pm on the weekend. This session will be in addition to the regular opening hours held during the week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
Fizza Qureshi, Project:London's manager, says the extended opening hours will help the clinic meet demand: "We have seen an increase in people needing our service ever since we first opened our doors in 2006. Opening on a Saturday will allow access for those unable to make it during the week. The clinic's volunteer medical support staff will continue to offer practical information and assistance about how to access mainstream medical services, which are often denied or are inaccessible to the most vulnerable."
Anyone interested in volunteering at our clinic should contact our HR Officer.
