Give Your Time
In addition to the teams already working in Haiti before the earthquake, we currently have about 40 international staff in the field. They consist of medical coordinators, logistical co-ordinators, emergency doctors, nurses, logisticians and surgical staff. Due to the difficult working conditions, we aim to replace the teams every 3-4 weeks.
If you can fulfil the following criteria:
- experience of working in difficult conditions in an emergency or post emergency project in one of the roles mentioned above
- you can leave in February for 2-4 weeks
please send your CV along with a covering letter stating your availability and any advance notice required. Please note that fluency in French is a requirement, whereas knowledge of Creole is desirable.
Please email your application or any queries to our HR Officer, Sonia Soldati on recruitment@doctorsoftheworld.org.uk.
To date, we have been overwhelmed by generous offers of help. We ask for your patience while we respond to your application, bearing in mind that profiles matching our most urgent needs will be given priority. Thank you for your understanding and for your interest in working with our teams.
