Doctors of the World Greece run a free drop-in clinic in the port town of Perama. It was originally set up to help migrants struggling to access healthcare. Due to the ongoing economic crisis the country's health system has been pushed to the brink and now the clinic is seeing 80% Greek people.
"It costs too much and now the Greek people have no money to pay for a doctor or pay for their medecines, this is why we are treating them." explains the Doctors of the World volunteer doctor Liana Maili.
