SUNDAY 17 APRIL 2011
Join Doctors of the World UK's team next April!
Have you secured your place in one of the one of the biggest running events in the world and you want to put your fundraising efforts in a great cause, reaching out and helping people in need across the world?
Doctors of the World is a humanitarian organisation working in over 70 countries. We help vulnerable people across the world, from young mothers and their babies in the slums of India to children on the streets of Cairo and victims of natural disasters, like the recent earthquake in Haiti or the flood in Pakistan.
Here in the UK we run Project:London where we help some of the community's most vulnerable, including victims of torture and people fleeing violence, pregnant mothers unable to access antenatal care, and babies in need of basic immunisations.
If you already have your place in the marathon, you raise as much as you can in aid of the most vulnerable around the globe.
As a member of the team DOW UK, you can benefit from:
- Fundraising tips, advice and merchandise to help you raise money
- a regular newsletter
- DOW's running t-shirt
- excellent support from the very beginning until after race day
- publicity on our website to help you with your fundraising efforts
